Murtaza Wahab, the city administrator, started restoration work on a fish aquarium in Karachi’s Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim on Friday.
The administrator stated during the inauguration ceremony that he was attempting to restore the port city to its former splendour. “I want to restore Karachi to the wonderful city it once was,” he continued.
He vowed to rehabilitate all parks owned by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), claiming that many had already been restored in recent months.
Wahab, the Sindh government’s spokeswoman, wrote on Twitter, “KMC has began work on reconstructing & restoring Fish Aquarium at Bagh Ibn e Qasim.”
