Flood threat in Rajanpur, Administration Issues Flood Warning

In Rajanpur, due to the recent rains on Mount Sulaiman, the river drains were flooded, and in view of the arrival of 20,000 cusecs of flood relay from The Kah Sultan Pass, the administration issued a flood warning, while the arrangements are incomplete despite the alert.

Due to the inefficiency of the administration, despite the flood warning, the arrangements are incomplete, the damage caused by last year’s floods has not yet been completed, due to incomplete flood bunds and bean drains, the nearby settlements of Bambali, Chatol, Jhok Makul, Meeranpur, Hajipur, Chak Shaheed, Sonowah, Mohammadpur Gamwala may be at risk of damage.
