For Me Personal Milestones Don’t Matter, Muhammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batter for Pakistan, has addressed the recent criticism he faced for allegedly prioritizing personal milestones over the team’s performance.

Rizwan dismissed the notion, stating that he is solely focused on following the plan set by the captain and performing to the best of his abilities. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the third ODI against New Zealand on May 3, Rizwan said that, ‘For me personal milestones don’t matter’.

He further added that while everyone is entitled to their opinions, the team only focuses on playing according to the given plan and giving their best performance. The criticism against Rizwan surfaced after Pakistan’s defeat in the last T20I match against New Zealand on April 24 in Rawalpindi.
