Adrian Hamilton-Manns, an aviation executive with nearly 30 years of international experience, has reportedly been nominated to lead Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), according to sources.

Hamilton-Manns has previously served as chief executive officer of SalamAir, an Oman-based low-cost airline, and FlyArystan, Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier.

His professional career also includes senior positions at several international airlines, including Virgin Australia, IndiGo and South African Airways.

His extensive experience across the global aviation industry spans airline management and operations in multiple markets. His reported nomination comes as PIA continues to navigate the challenges of the aviation sector and its future operational direction.

However, his formal appointment has not yet been finalised and remains subject to regulatory approval and other mandatory requirements. Further developments are expected once the necessary procedures have been completed.
