Pakistan’s federal government has reduced the prices of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD), effective August 28, 2026.
Petrol has been cut by Rs. 0.50 per litre, bringing its price down from Rs. 343.10 to Rs. 342.60. Meanwhile, HSD has decreased by Rs. 0.19 per litre, falling from Rs. 371.80 to Rs. 371.61.
The reduction follows OGRA’s latest review under the government’s petroleum pricing mechanism, which takes international oil prices and other cost factors into account.
The revised rates will remain applicable during the current pricing period. In the previous review, petrol and diesel prices had increased by Rs. 1.12 and Rs. 1.11 per litre, respectively.
