Girl From Mardan Student Received 1,100 Out Of 1,100 Marks

An uncommon occurrence, but it occurred nowhere else but in Pakistan, and specifically in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, when a female student topped her matric exam without loosing a single mark out of the total score.

As the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan announced the results of the grade 10 and 12 examinations on Tuesday, a girl student from a private school claimed the top spot and received 1100 marks out of 1100.

The BISE Mardan hosted a ceremony to present the position-holder students with awards. They were given certificates of appreciation and monetary incentives. Qandeel, a lady student who topped the BISE Mardan, is an orphan. Her mother works as a teacher in a government institution.
