Pakistani technology entrepreneur and cryptocurrency advocate Waqar Zaka has won the global WEEX TradFi Masters trading competition. He finished first against more than 3,000 traders competing remotely from countries including China, South Korea, Japan, the United States and Pakistan.
Zaka competed alone using his own money. In just 12 days, he achieved a strong 74% return on investment. He made around $74,000 in profit and grew his account to about $174,000. He also recorded the highest trading volume in the contest, moving more than 42 million USDT.
A trader from South Korea secured second position, while a trader from China finished third. The South Korean runner-up earned 57%, equal to US$57,000 in profit, while the third-placed Chinese trader earned 35%, equal to US$35,000 in profit.
The event was a real-money challenge, not a practice contest. Traders had to deal in several markets at the same time: stocks, gold, silver, other commodities and cryptocurrencies. Rankings depended on overall profit, trading activity and smart risk control.
As the champion, Zaka received a brand-new 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, better known as the G-Wagon. The prize is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and will be given no matter which country the winner lives in.
This success is a proud moment for Pakistan. It shows the country’s growing talent in global finance and digital assets. Zaka has been well-known in Pakistan since 2016 for teaching people about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
