Gold Prices Break All Records, Reaches Rs. 221,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

The price of gold in Pakistan has risen sharply, with 24-carat gold increasing by Rs. 1,500 per tola to Rs. 221,000 and 10 grams rising by Rs. 1,286 to Rs. 189,472, according to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The price of gold has experienced a surge of over Rs. 10,000 per tola during April, likely due to various global economic factors, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, and other economic issues. As a result, the demand for gold has increased, leading to an increase in price.

Although some consumers and investors are excited about the opportunity to sell their gold at a higher price, others are concerned about the impact on the economy and the rising cost of living.

The price of gold in the international market has also increased by 0.2 percent to $1,986.53 per ounce by 1241 GMT. Despite concerns, experts predict that the price of gold will continue to rise in the coming months, and investors are advised to carefully consider their options before making any decisions about gold purchases or sales.
