Good Bye to Zoom and Google Meet for Meetings As WhatsApp Introduces Game-Changing Feature

A new feature is being introduced that allows users to share their computer or phone screens with others during a video call. This feature is helpful for collaborating, demonstrating, and solving problems remotely. So, now you can now have virtual meetings on WhatsApp directly, making conversations highly convenient.

During a video call, users can click on a new icon at the bottom of the screen to share their screen with everyone on the call. The shared screen will include everything, including notifications, and it will be recorded and shared with others on the call. To avoid interruptions, it is recommended to enable the “Do Not Disturb” mode or a similar focus mode.

Users have full control and can stop sharing their screens whenever they want. To use this feature, users need to install the latest beta version 23.12.0.74.

Moreover, to ensure the privacy of conversations, the Meta-owned highly used app has introduced a new feature by which the screen recording will be shared only when the user sharing the screen will allow access.

The update is only available to beta users; however, it is expected the upgraded features will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
