Free rides via metro and orange line trains has been announced for the students of Lahore by the interim Punjab cabinet, sources.
Caretaker CM Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi while heading a meeting of Provincial Cabinet , announced the initiative.
Students in uniforms, traveling on OLMT (Orange Line Metro Train), Metro Bus Service and Speedo Bus would avail free rides on all days.
It is pertinent to mention that authorities of province considered a proposal to provide free transportation facilities to students in Lahore since 2022.
