Google has launched Google Pics, a new AI-powered image creation and editing tool aimed at Workspace users, bringing a range of visual design capabilities directly into the Google ecosystem.
Powered by Gemini and Google’s Nano Banana model, Google Pics is designed to make it easier for users to create professional-looking visuals without requiring advanced graphic design skills.
Users can generate images from scratch using prompts, edit specific objects or text, translate text within designs, crop visuals and upscale images to higher resolutions, including 2K and 4K.
The tool also integrates with Google Docs and Google Slides, allowing users to incorporate AI-generated and edited visuals into documents and presentations more conveniently.
