Recently, Google announced the establishment of 1,000 scholarships for Balochistan youth to strengthen the young people in the area through digital skills and knowledge.
This programme is a component of Google’s broader international effort to close the digital gap and give the next generation the resources they need to prosper in the digital world.
Balochistan is one of Pakistan’s least developed provinces, and young people there need help getting access to good schools and jobs. Young people in Balochistan will be able to gain the skills and information necessary to thrive in a job environment that is changing quickly, thanks to the scholarships provided by Google.
The scholarships will pay for various programmes, including cloud computing, data analysis, web development, and digital marketing. The National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications are working with Google to provide the programme.
