The Balochistan government has ordered all department heads and senior officials to change their cellular phone ringback tones to the song “Pakistan Zindabad” (long live Pakistan). Before the receiver answers their phone, the caller hears a ringback tone.
According to a notification issued on September 29 by section officer Bahadur Khan of the provincial government’s Services and General Administration Department, the decision was made during a meeting presided over by the chief secretary (S&GAD).
The decision must be scrupulously followed by the secretaries of all departments, extra secretaries, deputy secretaries, and leaders of other departments involved.
The additional secretaries of (S&GAD) have also been asked to make certain that their subordinates use the identical ringback tones on their cell phone numbers.
