The climate change ministry has decided to develop a “Chingchi (qingqi) Rickshaw Retirement Plan” in order to reduce carbon emissions and enhance air quality in Pakistan’s cities.

Chingchi rickshaws are powered by two-stroke engines that are simple and compact in design, inexpensive, and simple to repair, according to the statistics.

Traditional two-stroke engines, on the other hand, create large quantities of hydrocarbons in exhaust emissions—5,500 parts per million (ppm).
