Govt Registered FIRs Against Vehicles Using Substandard Fuel Cylinders

Recently, the Punjab Highways Patrol (PHP) conducted a special province-wide operation that resulted in 54 FIRs being filed against motorists for utilising illegal CNG and inferior LPG cylinders in public vehicles.

Rauf Gilani, the organization’s spokesman, said that on the orders of SP PHP Multan Division, Huma Naseeb, PHP officers launched a special campaign last month against public cars utilizing the aforementioned gasoline cylinders, risking public lives.

He further added that officials had assessed various automobiles, and discovered 54 that were in violation of the rules in this regard.

However, in Pakistan, substandard and illegal LPG and CNG cylinders have reportedly caused a number of accidents, causing damage to vehicles and property.
