Govt. To construct a mausoleum on the grave of nuclear scientist, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

The government will build a mausoleum on the tomb of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, according to Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed.

“The government has chosen to create a mausoleum in Islamabad to honour Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb,” he told the reporters.

He went on to say that the tomb’s design had been discussed with Dr Qadeer Khan’s daughter, Dr Dina.

According to the interior minister, Dr. Qadeer’s daughter has been asked to tell the design, and the Islamabad Capital Development Authority has been told to produce a layout for the mausoleum.

Rasheed stated that building will begin as soon as the mausoleum’s map was received.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, a Pakistani nuclear physicist, died on October 10 in Islamabad, as previously reported. The Mohsin-e-Pakistan was given a state funeral and buried in the H-8 cemetery with full military honours.
