Hasaan Khawar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Information and Tourism, and Spokesperson for the Punjab Government, stated that, in an effort to establish and promote new tourist destinations in the province, the installation of glimpsing pods and a parkway project for tourists in Kotli Satiyan has been completed, and the tourism highway is nearing completion.
These initiatives will be inaugurated soon by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, he said.
Hasaan Khawar further stated that a single-decker bus service for visitors in three cities in South Punjab, similar to the double-decker buses in Lahore, will be inaugurated soon, with the scope gradually expanding to more tourist locations afterwards.
SACM submitted these thoughts to Punjab Chief Minister Hasaan Khawar while presiding over a high-level meeting of the Punjab Tourism Department to examine progress on ongoing and prospective projects.
