Green Line Bus Crashes in Karachi to Save Wandering Child

In an attempt to save a youngster who had strayed onto its route, a Green Line bus in Karachi smashed into a footpath on Friday, causing damage. While trying to save the child in the collision at Nagan Chowrangi in Karachi, the bus slammed into the grill.

According to the on-scene rescuers, the bus’s front was totally destroyed, and several passengers escaped through the windows. The bus driver and several female passengers were hurt in the collision. The traffic under the Nagan Chowrangi flyover was also hampered.

The Green Line Bus project in Karachi was announced in July 2014. On February 26, 2016, the foundation stone of the 17.8-kilometer track was laid from Surjani to Guru Mandir. Each bus contains a capacity of 200 to 250 passengers.
