GTA 6 Reportedly Crosses 50 Million Pre-Orders, Generate $4 Billion in Sales Even Before Launch

Rockstar Games’ most-awaited title, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), is breaking records even before its official release. According to widespread reports and social media buzz, the game has reportedly crossed 50 million pre-orders worldwide shortly after pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026. This massive demand is estimated to have already generated around $4 billion in sales revenue.

These figures, though still unconfirmed officially by Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive, have created huge excitement in the gaming community. If true, GTA 6 would far surpass the pre-order performance of GTA 5 and become one of the biggest entertainment launches in history. Pre-orders started at $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition, with bonuses including the Vintage Vice City Pack.

Industry analysts had already predicted strong performance. Before pre-orders even began, experts from DFC Intelligence forecasted about $1 billion in pre-order revenue and $3.2 billion in first-year sales. The current rumors suggest the actual numbers are exceeding even these high expectations.

Set for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, GTA 6 is expected to bring a massive open-world experience set in Vice City with new protagonists Jason and Lucia.
