Hadiqa Kiani, a singer, and actor, launched Vaseela-e-Raah a few months ago to provide relief to those impacted by Pakistan’s disastrous floods. Kiani has recently revealed on the Vaseela-e-Rah Instagram page that she has finished building 100 homes in Balochistan.
The well-known singer and actor announced the construction of 200 houses under her flood campaign “Vaseela-e-Raah,” of which 100 have already been finished, after visiting the Balochistan districts devastated by the flooding.
On the day of the inauguration, she talked to the media and thanked everyone who had been a part of her campaign. “So grateful that with the help of the people who trusted this campaign, Vaseela-e-Raah, we were able to construct 100 houses in Tamboo Tehsil, Naseerabad district, Balochistan,” read the caption of the post.
According to the fundraising profile of Vaseela-e-Raah on GoFundMe, the donation campaign, organised by Shanzeh Aslam, the singer’s niece, aims to “collect funds for Hadiqa Kiani’s campaign to aid Pakistani flood victims, the mission is to collect $200,000 and build 200 sustainable homes for victims in Balochistan and expand efforts from there to the other cities adopted.”
