Online registration for Pakistani pilgrims planning to perform Hajj in 2027 has officially started, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The registration process has been launched through the ministry’s official website, allowing interested applicants to submit their details from home. Authorities have clarified that a passport is not required during the initial registration phase, making the first step easier for applicants.
However, officials said that a valid passport will become compulsory at the time of booking. The passport must remain valid until November 16, 2027, to meet the required travel conditions.
The ministry stated that only individuals who complete the registration process will be considered eligible for Hajj bookings. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and bookings will continue until the allocated quota is reached.
The government has not yet announced the final Hajj package costs or other details. These will be revealed later after the approval of the Hajj Policy 2027.
Officials have advised interested pilgrims to complete their registration early to avoid missing the opportunity due to limited availability. They also encouraged applicants to keep their documents updated and prepare their passports before the booking stage begins.
The online registration system is part of efforts to make the Hajj process more organized, transparent, and convenient for citizens. Through digital registration, authorities aim to improve management and reduce difficulties faced by pilgrims during the application process.
Thousands of Pakistanis are expected to register for the upcoming Hajj season. The ministry will continue providing updates regarding booking procedures, costs, and other important requirements as preparations for Hajj 2027 move forward.
