Prior, a female with 23 gold medals from King Edwards medical college held the record.
Abdul Qadir Patel, Health Minister recently awarded a cheque of Rs200,000 to Dr. Hafiz.
In a ceremony hosted recently, the health minister stated that such doctors like Hafiz Muhammad Waleed are a national asset and should be motivated.
