Hi-Speed Diesel Price Increased by Rs. 5 Per Itr in Pakistan

The federal government has announced an increase in the price of high-speed diesel, while petrol prices will stay the same for the next two weeks. Starting from October 16, petrol will remain at Rs. 247.03 per liter. However, the price of high-speed diesel will go up by Rs. 5 per liter, bringing it to Rs. 246.29 per liter.

In the last price review, petrol prices had been reduced by Rs. 2.07 per liter, and high-speed diesel saw a decrease of Rs. 3.40 per liter. The latest changes come as a response to shifts in the global oil market, which often affects local fuel prices.

These price adjustments aim to balance domestic fuel costs while reflecting international market trends. The government’s decision to keep petrol prices steady while increasing diesel rates is seen as a way to manage fuel prices in the country, especially considering the impact on consumers and industries that rely on diesel.

This change will likely affect transportation and other sectors that depend on high-speed diesel, but the government hopes it will help keep fuel pricing stable overall during this period.
