The Women’s University of Swabi declared on Saturday that there would no longer be any age limits on women wishing to enrol in any department of the educational facility as it had removed the minimum age requirement for applicants.
According to a news statement issued on Saturday, the decision was made during the 25th meeting of the university’s Academic Council, which was presided over by Vice Chancellor Shahana Arooj.
The heads of all departments and administrative officers participated in the meeting, which made several important decisions pertaining to the academic activities of the institute. After the historic decision to admit women of all ages to the university, prospective students will be able to submit an application for admission based only on merit.
Also, it was resolved at the meeting that the university will raise the admission costs for MPhil and PhD students to Rs. 65,000 and Rs. 55,000, respectively, for the study of science and the humanities.
