Honda Pakistan ‘Prepares to Resume Operations’ after Months-Long Closure

Honda Pakistan had been in serious halt during previous months due to company’s inefficacy to sustain the inventory and scaled-down demand in the market. However, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange that they will resume operations in the coming weeks owing to the persistent efforts and improvement in trading for supply chain.

In April, the company announced the closure from May 1st to May 15th, taking into consideration the poor economic situation of Pakistan, opening of LCs, ending international payments, and other factors that supply chain has been damaged.

According to the latest statistics released by PAMA, company’s sale of automobiles reduced by 80% year-on-year to 4,463 units amidst the falling economic conditions and political unrest.

However, Honda has announced the continuation of its operations now.
