Hottest Place in Pakistan! Mohenjo-Daro Recorded 51°C on Friday

The heatwave in Sindh is causing extremely high temperatures in major cities. On Friday, Mohenjo-Daro reached a record high of 51°C, making it the hottest place in Pakistan.

Other cities also faced intense heat: Jacobabad and Khairpur hit 50°C, while Larkana and Dadu recorded 49°C. Rohri and Sukkur were not far behind at 48.5°C. Additionally, Padidan, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Mithi experienced very high temperatures.

In Karachi, the temperature reached 36.7°C with 55% humidity. The Meteorological Office has forecasted that the weather will remain very hot across Sindh, including Karachi. Temperatures in the upper districts are expected to stay 6-8°C above normal.
