Huawei to help set up Smart Classrooms in GIK Institute

Chinese smartphone titan, Huawei is recently said to be assisting the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in the setting up of smart classrooms.

As per sources, Huawei Pakistan representative Niaz Ali Shahrukh made the announcement in this regard during a meeting with GIKI Rector Prof. Fazal Ahmad Khalid.

Mr. Niaz believes that the present moment is right for the two organizations to collaborate in order to enable and develop a digital environment for students.

Due to the fast changing technology landscape, the academician stated that flexible solutions such as smart classrooms were in desperate need.

Prof. Khalid agreed that students should be introduced to a digital landscape, especially in light of our world’s ever-growing technology.

However, this collaboration between GIKI and Huawei isn’t the first time the two organizations have worked together on a project.
