The multinational company has increased the price of packed milk by 20 rupees per liter.
According to media reports, the multinational company increased the price of a 250 ml milk box by 5 rupees to 70 rupees, while the price of a 1000 ml milk box increased by 20 rupees to 280 rupees.
Sales tax on milk cartons has increased from Rs 500 to Rs 600 per carton.
The price hike will be effective from July 15. Remember that in January, milk was available at Rs 230 per liter.
