Hyundai Nishat Planning to Soon Launch New Elantra in Pakistan

Hyundai Nishat has begun production of its latest Elantra sedan in Pakistan and plans to launch it soon.

Hyundai’s new sedan will be priced between Rs 3.6 million and Rs 4 million, as per Pakwheels, and will compete directly with Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. Japanese automakers, especially Toyota and Honda, will face stiff competition in the coming years as automakers rush to launch new cars in the Pakistani market before the end of the Auto Policy in June 2021.

The Hyundai Elantra debuted at the 2020 PAPS Auto Show. This sedan is available in the global market with either a 6-Speed Manual or 6-Speed Automatic transmission and a 1.6L Naturally Aspirated 4-Cylinder Petrol Engine that produces 122hp and 156Nm of torque.

This sedan will come fitted with a cruise control feature as well as a tyre pressure monitoring system to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. Parking sensors, read cameras, 6 airbags, electric stability control, hill start assist, burglar warning, disc brakes on all four wheels, and impact/speed sensing auto door locks are all standard on the Hyundai Elantra.

If introduced in Pakistan, Hyundai Elantra’s safety features will revolutionize local safety standards in the auto manufacturing industry and give Elantra’s key competitors a run for their money.
