“I, the Field Marshal, and the Nation Stand With Saudi Arabia,” PM Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly reaffirmed Pakistan’s full support for Saudi Arabia. During a telephone call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the prime minister condemned recent Houthi militia attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. He called these attacks unacceptable violations of international law that threaten regional peace and global maritime trade.

The Houthis targeted vessels such as the Encelia and Layla. These incidents have raised concerns about safety in key shipping routes such as the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz. Such attacks also affect oil prices and international trade.

PM Shehbaz Sharif stated clearly, “I, the Field Marshal, and the people of Pakistan stand firmly and resolutely with the Saudi leadership and our brotherly Saudi people during this critical time.” This shows the deep and strong friendship between the two countries.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share close ties in politics, economy, and security. Saudi Arabia is an important partner for Pakistan, providing support in many areas over the years. The prime minister also highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty, and prosperity.
