Ian Bishop impressed with Zeeshan Zameer’s Serious Pace

After taking the wicket of Pakistan and Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam, former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop praised Islamabad United’s developing pacer Zeeshan Zameer.

The 19-year-old was injured while playing his second match for United in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.

He only bowled 1.3 overs, but it was enough to get Babar out while defending 192.

Bishop, a well-known analyst, was taken aback by Zeeshan’s constant pace and praised the delivery that got rid of Babar as exceptional.

“Wow. Zeeshan Zameer, the young man, has some serious wheels. It’s rare to get Babar to do something like that “Bishop sent out a tweet.

Along with Zeeshan, United captain Shadab Khan was forced to leave the game owing to a possible injury.

United’s administration has yet to provide any additional information about the severity of the injuries.

Remember that United won a one-run thriller at Gaddafi Stadium? After Imad Wasim and Qasim Akram almost gave Kings their first win of the competition, Waqas Maqsood protected eight runs in the penultimate over.
