Zahid Mehmood joins Islamabad United as Shadab’s Backup

Zahid Mehmood, a leg-spinner, has joined Islamabad United’s roster as a depth player.

Zahid has been called into the squad in place of Shadab Khan, who will miss the next game due to a groyne injury.

Zahid, who was expected to join the United training camp for the series against Australia, will don the red and blue.

Shadab sustained the injury while bowling against Karachi Kings, and he was forced to leave the field without bowling a single ball.
