ICC intends to offer a film of Pakistan’s winning moment against India as NFT

The International Cricket Council (ICC) plans to release a digital artwork representing Pakistan’s winning double in their T20 World Cup opener against India in 2021.

The ICC will make the artwork available on its Faze app, a digital collectible platform dedicated to displaying and trading Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) from the Council’s major competitions, if it is commissioned.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is considering making the second of two moments from the same match available as a digital collectible. Apart from their collectible value, the ICC claims that these NFTs can be used in a range of Faze Metaverse applications that will emerge over time.

The first, Shaheen Shah Afridi’s spectacular T20 World Cup 2021 opener against India, was put up for a vote earlier this week.
