PTI founder Imran Khan has reportedly been shifted from Adiala Jail to Shifa International Hospital under heightened security for a medical evaluation.
Police personnel were deployed around the hospital as authorities completed security arrangements ahead of his arrival.
A team of six specialist doctors is expected to conduct a detailed medical assessment before deciding whether Khan requires admission for further treatment.
Authorities have also prepared additional security measures in case he is admitted to the hospital. The development comes as officials closely monitor his medical condition and coordinate arrangements surrounding his treatment.
