In Pakistan, a Turkish aid organization has established a medical facility

In Pakistan, a hospital clinic for children born with cleft lip and palate has been established by Turkey’s state-run aid organization.

In Karachi’s southern port city, Al Mustafa Medical Center, a charity hospital sponsored by a local NGO, has set up a specialized operating theatre.

The facility was inaugurated by Ibrahim Katirci, the coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Haji Muhammad Hanif Tayyab, the founder of the charity, and provincial governor Imran Ismail. According to a statement from TIKA, the facility will perform up to 1,000 procedures every year.
