Celebrations in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir were the most fervent following Pakistan’s magnificent victory over its biggest cricket foe, India.
On social media, videos of ecstatic Kashmiris who couldn’t contain their joy over Pakistan’s triumph went viral.
Kashmiris in the IOJK flocked to the streets to celebrate the triumph, shouting “jeevay jeevay Pakistan,” “Pakistan Zindabad” [long live Pakistan], “Pakistan meri jan” [Pakistan my life], and “Allah o Akbar” [Allah is the Greatest].
In one of the videos, patriotic Kashmiri civilians can be seen waving Pakistani flags.
