Induction of 30 new buses in BRT Peshawar fleet

30 new buses to be inducted in the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) that are arriving from China soon in its fleet as taking a total number to about 158.

In a recent statement, officials said that these new buses had already left China as to join this fleet in Peshawar in order to further enhance their commuting facility for all passengers like the travellers.

He said that the BRT administration was endeavoring just to provide the best possible commuting facilities to its passengers and adding to that these new buses would easily accommodate over 3,750 passengers on daily basis.

The work on this bus project was already launched in late 2017 by Pervez Khattak, the chief minister, who sets the six months deadline of the project for its completion and at a cost of around RS 49 billion.

However, this project had suffered delays due to many reasons and the major one was the frequent design changes of it while pushing up overall cost of the project.
