Intel Launches New 11th Gen Processors for Laptops With a Speed of 5.0GHz

Intel launched its 11th Generation Core processors earlier this month, including the Tiger Lake H line of processors for powerful laptops. Now, at Computex 2021, the American chipmaker has unveiled new U-series chips that enable laptops to run at 5.0GHz.

Intel has unveiled two new chips: the Core i7-1195G7, which is the company’s most powerful U series chip, and the Core i5-1155G7, which is the company’s top-tier Core i5 chip.

Both of these new chips run at lower voltages than the others, ranging from 12 to 28 watts. These CPUs have four cores and eight threads, as well as Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics.
