International Steels Limited’s Profit Soars 136% to Rs. 3.7 Billion in FY26

International Steels Limited (ISL) posted a strong financial performance in FY2026, with its net profit soaring 136% year-on-year to Rs. 3.7 billion, compared with Rs. 1.56 billion recorded in FY2025.

The significant increase highlights a substantial improvement in the company’s overall profitability during the year.

The company’s revenue also witnessed strong growth, rising nearly 50% to Rs. 93.35 billion. Gross profit more than doubled to Rs. 10.73 billion, while operating profit climbed 117% to Rs. 7.18 billion, reflecting stronger operating performance and improved margins.

ISL’s earnings per share increased to Rs. 8.44 from Rs. 3.58 a year earlier. The company also announced a final cash dividend of Rs. 3 per share, providing a return to shareholders alongside the improved financial results.

According to the company, the growth was supported by stronger sales, improved gross margins and higher earnings from its associate entity.

The results underline a significant year-on-year improvement in ISL’s financial position and operational performance during FY2026.
