Islamabad Mosque Sets Up Free-of-Charge Marriage Hall for Needy Families

A free wedding hall has been created by Masjid Rehmat ul Alamin F/8 in Islamabad to assist worthy families in celebrating their daughters’ marriages with respect and dignity.

By offering a free wedding venue complete with a stage for the bride and groom, dishes, tables, chairs, and trained waiters to serve food to the guests of deserving brides and orphans, this charitable initiative hopes to enhance the special day of deserving families.

The venue’s three-hour time limit and stage for the bride and groom are also features of the hall. The management of the mosque gives parents the option of performing their daughter’s Nikkah personally or selecting a Khateeb of their choosing.

Deserving parents should get in touch with the mosque management committee to reserve the venue. The mosque committee member Taj Qamar stated that the marriage-related activities will go on uninterrupted even when there were prayers being conducted.

In order to dispel some superstitions and establish a blessed environment that will support a new life, he recommended people to connect their daughters’ departure with the call to prayer (Azan) and prayer (Salah).

Three men and three women from the family should organise and keep order, and one man and one woman should be designated to supervise the ritual and make sure that the mosque administration does not take part in it.
