Islamabad Schools and Colleges to Remain Closed for 2 Days

The district administration in the capital has made an announcement that schools, colleges, and offices will be closed for two days, July 31 and August 1 (Monday and Tuesday). This closure applies to both public and private educational institutions, as well as commercial entities, companies, markets, shops, and commercial banks.

The reason for this decision is the visit of He Lifeng, who is the Vice Premier of China and a Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. He will be in Pakistan from July 30 to August 1.

During his visit, Vice Premier Lifeng, who is a Special Envoy of President Xi Jinping, will take part in the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and have meetings with the President and the Prime Minister.
