Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators PSL 9 Match Also Called off Due to Heavy Rain

The second game of the day in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine in Rawalpindi between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators couldn’t take place due to heavy rain. The rain was continuous, and the ground at Pindi Cricket Stadium was soaked.

The match, scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, had to be called off because the outfield was filled with puddles and the covers were still on the field. Both Islamabad and Quetta teams stayed back at the hotel instead of heading to the stadium.

This wasn’t the only match affected by the rain; the first game between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi was also washed out. The heavy rain in Rawalpindi and Islamabad yesterday added to the problem. According to the Met Office, there are chances of more rain with thunderstorms on Saturday, and the situation might worsen.
