Italian Artist Sales an Invisible Sculpture for US $18,300

Salvatore Garau, an Italian artist has recently sold out an invisible sculpture at an exorbitant price of US$18,000 that is over Rs.2.7 million. According to the sources, the buyer is unidentified but buys the invisible sculpture at this whopping price.

Italian auction house of Art-Rite organized a sale of the “immaterial” statue during the previous month of May with a beginning of an estimated value coming up in between $7,000 to $11,000. However, the hype created and surrounded by the items pushed the final selling price of the items to US$18,300 that was higher than the set price.

Salvatore Garau sold this invisible sculpture made by him, entitled as “Io Sono” meaning, ‘I am’, to an unidentified buyer in the last month, he was also given a certificate for the authenticity to proving that this invisible sculpture is real.
