JAECOO launches electric J5 in Pakistan at Rs 59.99 lakh, deliveries set for January
Bookings are open for the JAECOO J5 BEV, with the Comfort priced at Rs 59.99 lakh and the Premium at Rs 66.99 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in January 2027, while prices are valid until November 30, 2026.

JAECOO has officially launched its all-electric J5 BEV in Pakistan, with prices starting at Rs 59.99 lakh for the Comfort variant, according to PakWheels. Bookings are open for both the Comfort and Premium versions, with deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2027.
The Comfort carries a price of Rs 5,999,000 and requires a booking payment of Rs 1,200,000, or Rs 12 lakh. Buyers choosing the Premium will pay Rs 6,699,000, equivalent to Rs 66.99 lakh, with a booking amount of Rs 1,500,000, or Rs 15 lakh.
The announced prices are valid until November 30, 2026. Although customers can book now, the delivery schedule places the start of handovers in January 2027. It could not be independently confirmed when or where JAECOO made the launch announcement.
JAECOO also recently changed the price of another model in Pakistan. As this publication reported on September 15, 2026, the company reduced the J7 Premium SUV’s price by Rs 500,000, bringing its ex-factory price down from Rs 10,499,000 to Rs 9,999,000. According to an update from NexGen Auto, JAECOO’s local operator, that revision took effect on September 14, 2026, following changes to Pakistan’s sales tax structure.
Unlike the all-electric model now being launched, the J7 described in that September report is a locally assembled plug-in hybrid SUV. Its Super Hybrid System pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric powertrain, producing 341 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque. According to JAECOO Pakistan, its 18.3 kWh battery provides more than 90 kilometres of electric driving range.
