Alamgir Tareen, the brother of Jahangir Tareen, head of the Stability Pakistan Party, committed suicide.
Alamgir Tareen, according to authorities, shot himself in the head with a pistol.
Jahangir Tareen’s brother was a well-known businessman and the owner and managing director of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans.
Police sources said that Alamgir Tareen was present in his house in Lahore. After receiving the information, the police reached his house.
Police officials said that Alamgir Tareen also left a note before committing suicide in which he mentioned his illness.
Close acquaintances of Alamgir Tareen claim they are unaware of his sickness.
His pals said he was 63 years old, unmarried, and engaged to be married in December.
Last night, Alamgir Tareen went to sleep in his bedroom, but when the servant knocked at the door of the room at ten in the morning, he did not come out.
On this, the servant looked into the room through the window and found Alamgir Tareen covered in blood. The servant immediately informed Jahangir Tareen.
