Japanese Company Offered Pakistan 35% Cheaper Oil and Gas

A reputable Japanese trading corporation and its Irish partner have made Pakistan an offer to purchase Russian oil as well as LNG from Nigeria at a price that is 35% cheaper than the market cost.


At a meeting, the Pakistani ambassador in Tokyo was presented with this proposition by the Japanese company’s representative.

The President of the Pak-Japan Business Council, Rana Abid Hussain, is a Pakistani businessman who lives in Japan. The ambassador was briefed on LNG and oil by the Japanese official.


The Japanese envoy claimed that if Pakistan wanted to buy petrol and oil, they could do it at a price that was 35% cheaper than the market price.
