Japanese Embassy Announces MEXT Scholarships For Pakistani Teachers

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has introduced the MEXT Teachers Training Scholarship 2024 for primary and secondary school teachers. This opportunity is available for educators in public or private institutions with at least five years of experience. Teachers who are 35 years old or younger can apply for this 18-month non-degree training course.

Upon completion of the course at a Japanese university, scholarship recipients will receive a certificate. It’s important to note that this program is not intended for those seeking Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor’s degrees.

The goal is to give Pakistani teachers a chance to research school education in Japan, learning new methodologies and teaching techniques from Japanese experts to enhance their professional growth.

Applications can be submitted until February 9, 2024. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers these scholarships annually to international teachers who want to research school education at designated institutions in Japan.

Last year, the Japanese embassy also announced the MEXT Research Scholarship 2024 for Masters and PhD students.
