Javelin Thrower Mohammad Yasir Wins Bronze Medal at Asian Athletics Championship

Mohammad Yasir Sultan, Pakistan’s javelin thrower achieved a remarkable coup by winning the bronze medal at the Asian Athletics Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.

With a career-best throw of 79.93 meters, Yasir Sultan presented his talent and secured Pakistan’s first and only medal in the ongoing championship. Despite some near misses in other events, Sultan’s feat has made the whole nation proud of his talent.

The gold medal went to Roderick Genki Dean from Japan with a remarkable throw of 83.15 meters, while the silver medal went to Manu Devarakeshavi Prakash from India with a throw of 81.01 meters.
