Karachi kings become the worst team in PSL history.

Babar Azam’s Karachi Kings set a new record on Sunday when they lost their ninth match in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season — the most losses in a single edition by a franchise.

In match 28 of the tournament, played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, they were crushed by Quetta Gladiators by 23 runs.

This was the King’s ninth defeat in PSL 7, becoming the Babar Azam-led team the first in the tournament’s history to lose nine games in a single season.

This record was previously held by the Quetta Gladiators, who had lost eight matches in a single edition. Gladiators achieved this despicable accomplishment in the league’s 2021 edition.
