Karachi to Host 11 PSL Games, Including Final

The tentative plan for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 has been revealed, suggesting that Karachi will host 11 matches, including the final, from February 17 to March 17. Lahore and Rawalpindi might have nine matches each, and Multan is expected to host five matches.

The official schedule from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to be announced, and there’s a possibility of it being changed. The delay is linked to Pakistan’s international commitments, and once confirmed, the PCB will share the official schedule.

The leaked plan shows which cities will host various matchups, with Karachi having a significant role. However, a source from the PCB hints that the schedule is not final, and there might be adjustments.

Uncertainty around the general elections, initially set for February 8, and a Senate resolution on Friday to postpone them could also impact the PSL schedule. If elections are postponed, there could be slight changes to the schedule of the country’s top T20 league.
